You know its funny how powerful music can be. It took me a while to really understand how meaningful one song and its lyrics could be two a person. “Young Folks” is one of those songs that when i heard i was instantly hooked, its a catchy tune and very soothing flow, but its when you really pay attention to it and have it applied to you life that it becomes a more emotional experience. sadly this song brings me a lot of old memories some good and some bad, some i still dont know how to handle and some that i feel now i can move on from. “ill be the first and because of that, i wont be the last”, its said to say he was right. “i want to be able to hear this song and not think about you.” my only wish. “no” his only answer. maybe its ok that this song has this meaning cause sometimes things are hard and unfit for a reason because they truly not meant for you, and in the end my past can go fuck itself cause i write my life and along with that comes my own personal soundtrack, and your part of it!
